Kreative Mumma!

So normally I would make a blog post about my self here but not today! See today I’m making a blog post for my talented fiance. She has an Etsy shop dedicated to her craft of making some pretty awesome handmade quilts, blankets, and more! She also takes custom orders too so if you don’t see it on the shop, just reach out to her and see what she can do! I added the link to her shop so go check it out!!!

You can also check out her Facebook page too!:

The story thus far….

So a brief and more happier update on the story of being a working dad and the adventures both good and bad, I’m back to work….again. After 2014 turned out to be a tough year for me with being hired, laid off, hired, and laid off just a few weeks before Christmas, I’m happy to report (a little late) that I’m once again working!!! Not through a temp service, not through some short means of any kind, but back to work without the chance of getting laid off because my contract ran out. I had alot of support from my family who without i would be lost. My fiance (Mom’s Place of Sanity) has been my rock and kept me from giving up. I know giving up was not an option with a family that needs you, but when you get discouraged that there are no jobs out there it makes it tough to not give up hope. 2015 has proven to be an amazing year so far. and it all happened on the second day of the new year of all days! So as it looks, 2015 is proving to be the year for alot of positive vibes and good news.

So this is going to be a short rant. When a person says they are “friends” with someone be a friend. When someone says “your more like my sister” to someone be that sister. But we have to hide behind our addictions of being a big shot and thinking we someone beyond our station. You are as fake as they come. If you never read this, I don’t care but if by some chance you happen to come across this blog understand this, no one can stand someone who plays make-believe with the people you “care about”.

Hanging with the new school.

Shadow Deck

So I have been a player of MTG (Magic the Gathering) for over 10 years. A game I never thought I would get into, found my self introduced by chance thanks in part to a purchase made by my step mom, the rest of course is history. Along the way, I’ve seen new and exciting cards roll out in all of their shiny new booster packs and deck boxes. I’ve seen the reprint, and reprint, and reprint of cards (Llanowar elves and Unholy Strength) along the way and picked up a good number of them too. I’ve also seen my fair share of rule changes, new abilities, and the ever growing expansion of the world MTG encompasses.

Now I’ve come to a point where I begin to question where I stand on the road of the ever changing game. I know alot of the old rules are still in effect and that alot of those rules were given new names, a better breakdown of how they work, and of course, the removal of some of those rules too. I will be honest in saying that I haven’t purchased a whole lot of the new school cards with all of their new abilities and rules, but I have a fair grasp of things, but, where does that leave decks I have built years ago?

I know that at some point I will need to sit down and explore the forums, speak with fellow players and get a better idea as far as what I need to do to keep up in the changing world of the game. I write this blog in the hopes that someone out there will maybe give their two cents or at least point me in the right direction that I may perhaps get a better grip on the game and get back into playing more.

Can the past rewrite the future? A quick World of Warcraft blog..

So with all of the now and exciting story of Warlords of Draenor closing in, I cannot help but consider some possible changes to the future by altering the past. I just feel like we’re taking the DeLorean back to 1955, seeing Marty bump into his parents, and Biff ends up becoming his dad back in 1985.

So here are my thoughts about the new expansion’s story line from what I have experienced thus far (Thanks Blizzard for my Beta key). As of right now, you have to assist Khadgar and Thrall in rescuing members of each respected faction from certain doom thanks to Kargath Bladefist then an escape to destroy the Iron Horde warmachine. once you can escape, you end up in Shadowmoon Valley where you start your growth in level and progression to stopping the Iron Horde. Now the cast of characters we all know, like Khadgar, Kargath, Killrogg and Ner’zhul. Now as far as present lore goes, Kargath Bladefist is help up in the Shattered Halls, Kilrogg was cheiftain of the bleeding hallow clan and “killed” in fighting Khadgar in the battle of the Dark Portal, and Ner’Zhul…well he decided to infuse his soul into a certain suite of armor and a runesword…Now my thoughts. Let’s say for sake of argument, the forces of the horde and alliance are able to subdue, or kill Ner’zul before he is able to imprison his soul within the armor and sword, does this mean that Arthas would not become the Lich King. All I’m saying is that with us going back in time to Draenor, before it was ravaged and turned into Outland, I think the future will be altered by the rewrite of it’s past…who knows, maybe by the end of it all we’ll venture through the Dark Portal to find Sargaras waiting for everyone…
