Can the past rewrite the future? A quick World of Warcraft blog..

So with all of the now and exciting story of Warlords of Draenor closing in, I cannot help but consider some possible changes to the future by altering the past. I just feel like we’re taking the DeLorean back to 1955, seeing Marty bump into his parents, and Biff ends up becoming his dad back in 1985.

So here are my thoughts about the new expansion’s story line from what I have experienced thus far (Thanks Blizzard for my Beta key). As of right now, you have to assist Khadgar and Thrall in rescuing members of each respected faction from certain doom thanks to Kargath Bladefist then an escape to destroy the Iron Horde warmachine. once you can escape, you end up in Shadowmoon Valley where you start your growth in level and progression to stopping the Iron Horde. Now the cast of characters we all know, like Khadgar, Kargath, Killrogg and Ner’zhul. Now as far as present lore goes, Kargath Bladefist is help up in the Shattered Halls, Kilrogg was cheiftain of the bleeding hallow clan and “killed” in fighting Khadgar in the battle of the Dark Portal, and Ner’Zhul…well he decided to infuse his soul into a certain suite of armor and a runesword…Now my thoughts. Let’s say for sake of argument, the forces of the horde and alliance are able to subdue, or kill Ner’zul before he is able to imprison his soul within the armor and sword, does this mean that Arthas would not become the Lich King. All I’m saying is that with us going back in time to Draenor, before it was ravaged and turned into Outland, I think the future will be altered by the rewrite of it’s past…who knows, maybe by the end of it all we’ll venture through the Dark Portal to find Sargaras waiting for everyone…

10 shades of me.

This is the 10 shades of me, and by that I speak of the 10 )and soon to be 11) toons I have in World of Warcraft. With each character I have rolled over the years my account has been active, I have worked hard on making them unique in appearance, and play style. So without any further delay, I present to you…

So for those who will read this I am on Lothar-us and my guild is always looking for new friends to partake in new adventures. the guild name is Farewell to Kings (thanks Rush!)

Farewell to Kings-Lothar-US (Alliance)

Farewell to kings is currently recruiting new members in an effort to repair for the upcoming expansion. We are not a hardcore raiding guild as personal time for our members does not allow us to, however we are interested in seeing some endgame raiding prior to the expansion.

We are openly accepting all classes at this time, and we would like to have members that are atleast over 18 due to school schedules, because we do not want to see gaming interfere with education.

For further details please contact either my self through this blog or in game by sending mail to Tyrage, or you can contact my fiance on her blog:http://fulltimesahm.wordpress.com/, or in game be sending mail to Icylady.

Thank you , and fight on!

Guild Recruitment.

My World of Warcraft guild, Farewell to Kings-Lothar-US (alliance) is currently looking for casual players that are eager to join a casual guild looking for progression and to have a great time. We are made up of family and friends, but are always looking for new friends with some experience in dungeons/raids and is in no major hurry to progress through the game and want to enjoy it as a whole.

We currently have a Facebook page designed as a gateway for current members and new members to exchange photos, ideas, to setup dungeon, and to be 10-Man Raid events, and we also have a client on Raidcall so that we can communicate and organize our dungeon/raid runs as well. Our main focus, however, is to not loose ground on our priority as being a fun, non-hardcore guild with the intent of seeing endgame content, while preparing for the next expansion.

If this is something you may be interested in or have any additional questions, please free to reach out to me or my fiance. we are Tyrage, and Icylady respectably located on Lothar-US, or you can respond to me here and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria…Will it be worth it.

As with many things, we in life cannot go forward with out change. Blizzard is following said belief with the announcment of the newest expansion, Mists of Pandaria. So now the big question of the day is, will it be worth it? It is my belief that it will be because it is a new direction on a game already 7 years old.  No epic bosses announced (yet), No destruction of the planet or the extinction of humanity as we in the gaming world know it. What it offers is a new race offered to either Horde or Alliance, a new class in the form of the Monk class, a new continent, not some silly little island that takes you 30 seconds to cross.

Now with all of the perks, comes some draw backs. One being an increased level cap to 90. Now I know it’s only 5 lvls, and will boil down to lvling 10 lvls.  Also in the expansion will be a new talent system (here’s hoping that it’s more fine tuned than previous), and that is only what was announced today.

I did have the time to read what alot of people are feeling and that is shock, dislike, let down, and so on. Well to be honest, What the hell were people expecting? No new content?, no new class that is different from everything else that we already have? the potential to actually do something in the game that isn’t all about going to war with god knows what? and the same old “Hey, let’s roll into this raid, get it on farm, than bitch because we have nothing to do”.

I welcome the change and bid farewell to the people who feel that the idea of slowing down and enjoying some fresh, non cataclysmic, frozen over, burnt up expansion.
